Challenge
With legacy systems the backbone of IsAlbi’s eCommerce operations, modern integration options were limited. Existing software available on the market is inflexible and couldn’t meet their specific business needs.
Here were the key challenges faced:
- Rich product data needs to sourced from Salsify, yet orders need to sync back to Magento.
- Order numbers need channel-based custom prefixes when syncing to Magento.
- The downstream ERP has specific order formatting requirements.
- Some product data coming from Salsify requires sanistising due to age.

Solution
Using eCommify, IsAlbi is able to import their comprehensive product data from Salsify, combine that with inventory levels from Magento and sync that to all of their connected channels.
- Using eCommify, IsAlbi connected Salsify and Magento as Source platforms.
- Product data is imported from Salsify.
- Product attributes can be added and overriden directly in eCommify for legacy products without relying on the source data being updated.
- Inventory data is imported from Magento.
- Orders are synced back to Magento with custom channel-based order prefixes or IDs.
- Using eCommify's excel-like formulas, IsAlbi could easily meet the specific mapping requirements of the downstream ERP.
